Grand re-launch of my photography teaching services!

Howdy Folks!

I’m excited to announce that after a long downtime and a few rough times here and there, I’m finally getting back to what I enjoy most, helping others learn and grow as photographers! This business was strong before 2021 and then the pandemic came along and ended my business. Thankfully despite those tough times I’ve kept up with many of my long-time students but had lost the regular flow of new faces. I’m happy to announce that I’ve refreshed my site, and am ready to teach again.

This year is going to be epic for two big reasons, weekend workshops and classes! I’m no stranger to teaching large groups of students during my time the the Flower City Arts Center, where I taught beginner and intermediate photography classes and specialized workshops year around. I’m now in a position to offer my own classes and workshops and I can’t wait to get started.

For this year I’ll be conducting public weekend workshops every other Saturday starting this month as of March 16th until mid-November. You can find a list of coming dates and sign up for them via the Offerings section on this site.

These workshops will focus on exercises using manual mode and finding and refining creative compositions within the environment of the workshop. During the workshop, we’ll also address any questions or topics that students bring to the session, and will be relatively open-ended.

Throughout the year I’ll also be offering themed workshops that involve interesting locations and challenges.

Lastly, starting in mid-April I’ll be offering a 6-week introduction to photography that covers all the features and modes of your SLR-type camera, situational photography, and basic photo editing and file management. Class nights will be Monday evenings along with optional Thursday night “office hours” virtual sessions, and three Saturday morning workshops. More details to come!

If you are interested in upcoming classes and workshops please consider subscribing to my newsletter for updates.

Thank you!
